christmas
So...this year has been tough, we decided to only worry about getting our son's gifts. UNTIL I found 20 candle holders from a party years ago. They were packed up and shoved to the back of the closet in our guest room. When I found them I thought maybe I can dress them up and they could be small gifts for everybody so heres what I came up with. I only had a half of a sheet of vinyl...
Cowboy Party (in progress)
This is the treat bag topper front & back. the back says "It was mighty nice of ya to come to my party. I hope ya had a rootin' tootin' good time!"
This sign will be over the table with the cowboy hats, bandanas, sick horses ect
This is the sign to go on or above the drink table
This sign will be over the food table
Im working on the invitations, so I'll post them when they are finished :)

Justins Scrapbook
Ok, so I've seen scrapbook layouts on everyones blog and I never even thought to put mine on here. So I decided I would. Then I realized what a pain it was to take a picture of something with a page protector on it!! So the pictures are awful...but at least I can say they're on here haha. I left some pages out, some were more personal then others. Oh and they may end up out of order since I will have to do several posts. Now keep in mind, this was all done BEFORE I got my cricut! So you wont see very much creativity...But enjoy :)

ribbon storage
just wanted to share how i store my ribbon, lots of people ask. My ribbon pieces (that i cant seem to part with) are in the green basket labeled "scrap ribbon", mini spools are in the green container on the right, and regular spools are hanging on a dowel that derek ran through my shelf :) I dont use ribbon as much as some of you, but this works for me. tfl!

Fathers Day (love)
This was my 1st time using a picture in a card! I think it turned out good. I took a 5x7 picture, made it as the front of the card. I printed on vellum and attached it on top of the picture. added some scrap ribbon, a heart brad and flowers cut with my cuttlebug, and used a stamp & embossing powder for "cherish". On the inside i layered red & black paper, again printed on vellum and attached it with heart shaped brads, and added some flowers cut from scrap vellum :) Let me know what ya think!!

INSIDE---not yet personalized, and after i posted this, i realized i cut a word out. So i fixed it....it now says "...it takes someone special to BE called..."
ENVELOPE
Im pretty happy with this card! :) And remember, all of my pictures are taken with my phone, so they are poor quality, making the colors awful :( it looks ALOT better in person!

Cookie Bag
I made this for my best friend keisha. I saw one similar at walmart it was pink and had some kind of candy in it for Mother's Day. When I saw it, I thought "I CAN DO THAT!" So today, I attempted it. I put 2 homemade double chocolate chip cookies in it :)I dont have Design studio or SCAL so it is all hand cut. Except the K...it is from Jasmine. I did the brown "stitching" with a plain ole crayola marker haha
